Welcome to the information webpage for Erasmus+ Incoming staff!
✨ OPENING REMARK ➡️
We are thrilled to invite staff members seeking teaching or training mobility opportunities under the Erasmus+ programme. For staff mobility for teaching, an active Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) between your home institution and ours is required. Please verify that your institution has an IIA in place before proceeding.
? You can explore our existing agreements on this Interactive Map ?️
For staff mobility for training, we welcome teaching staff in related academic areas. However, prior coordination with the relevant Academic International Coordinator is essential to discuss and arrange the specifics of the mobility. For non-teaching staff, we currently only accept colleagues from international relations offices. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate staff from other departments for training. Alternatively, the Polytechnic University of Coimbra organizes an annual International Staff Training Week, which might be of interest. This event is advertised on the IMOTION Staff Week Portal and is a fantastic opportunity for networking and professional growth.
? HOW TO APPLY ✅
The application process is simple and mostly online. We encourage early submissions to ensure ample time for review and preparation. Here’s how it works:
• Step 1: Complete and submit the Erasmus+ Incoming Staff Application Form with a brief description of your visit, including its main objectives.
? Tip: Before submitting, confirm the potential mobility dates with the appropriate department or the International Office to ensure availability and streamline the approval process.
• Step 2: Your application will be directed to the appropriate Academic International Coordinator and/or the International Office.
• Step 3: The application will be reviewed, and you will receive a response as soon as possible.
• Step 4: Once approved, you will need to submit a “Staff Mobility for Teaching or Training” agreement, signed by both you and a representative from your home institution.
